Beloit Chapter NSDAR was organized September 4, 1896. 
The Organizing Regent was Mrs. G. Luther Cole.

Daughters of Revolutionary Soldiers buried in Wisconsin; graves marked by Beloit Chapter.

Nancy Dunbar Bemis (Mrs. Amasa Bemis), born 1775 in Leicester, Massachusetts, died October 1855 in Roscoe Township, Illinois, and buried there. Reinterred in Oakwood Cemetery, Lot 210, Grave 3, Beloit, where a grave marker was placed by Beloit Chapter. Amasa Bemis (October 10, 1757-November 21, 1842) was a Sergeant in the Revolution. Nancy Dunbar who was his second wife, was the daughter of Thomas Dunbar, (August 1, 1750 - April 15, 1796) and Lucretia Smith. Thomas Dunbar held the rank of Sergeant in the Revolution.

Chloe Kidder Blodgett (Mrs. Caleb Blodgett), born 1783 in Sutton, Massachusetts, married in 1807, died November 3, 1838, buried in Oakwood Cemetery where Beloit Chapter placed a grave marker. Daughter of John Kidder who marched in the alarm of April 19, 1775. Daughters of the American Revolution
Daughters of the American Revolution Elizabeth Stearns Moore Goodhue is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Lot 57, Grave 2; her grave has been marked by Beloit Chapter. Daughter of William Tyler Moore (June 16, 1752 - August 6, 1819) and Patty Campbell. William Tyler Moore was a Captain in the Revolution.
Mary Kidder Clark Lee (Mrs. Quartus Lee), born March 28, 1780, married 1) Jeremiah Clark, 2) Quartus Lee, she died August 29, 1859. Her grave in Oakwood Cemetery, Block 49, Lot 1, Grave 6, was marked by the Beloit Chapter. Daughter of John Kidder who marched in the alarm of April 19, 1775. Daughters of the American Revolution
