Patriot Brick
Orders for the third phase of the Patriot Memorial Garden are still being accepted! In case you missed the first two phases or are a new member of WSDAR, the Patriot Memorial Garden is the first America 250 Marker placed in the US. It was placed during the Van Buren Administration and it resides at Fort Winnebago Surgeons Quarters. It is a way for us to honor our patriot ancestors by engraving a brick with their name and state of service.
You can order a brick for your ancestor by downloading the order form and sending a check to Kathie Breunig, Treasurer. Each brick is $65.00 and $35.00 of each brick is tax deductible as a donation to Surgeons Quarters. This project is open to all - SAR, CAR, and even others who aren't members but want to honor a patriot ancestor. Phase III is limited to just 90 bricks (unless demand is overwhelming), so get your order in today! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to dallassipes@hotmail.com.
