It is the Snow administration's goal to raise and contribute $56,000 from Wisconsin Daughters to the Trust for the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for maintenance and improvement to the Memorial to the 56 Signers of the Declaration of Independence.
Pictured here is our state regent, Sandy Snow at Constitution Gardens where the memorial on Signers Island honors the men who risked everything to sign the Declaration of Independence. The granite stones include facsimiles of their signatures, the location of their homes, and their occupations.
Replacement of the Old Military Road Markers Between Prairie du Chien and Green Bay, there are Old Military Road Markers which have been destroyed or displaced. It is my goal to replace these missing and/or damaged markers on the road first used by settlers, trappers, and hunters.
Gifts for Girls WSDAR members and friends are encouraged to collect and distribute self-care items for girls in need. If your chapter collects and distributes bags in your local community, please send an email to state regent letting her know how many bags were distributed.
If you would like to support any of the State Regent's Projects, checks can be mailed to: WSDAR c/o Mary Baszynski 1535 Rivers Bend #425 Wauwatosa, WI 53226
